After two days off, Flamengo returned this Tuesday morning (18), at Ninho do Urubu, and began preparations for the match against Maricá, which will be played next Saturday (22), at 19 pm, at Maracanã, for the last round of the Taça Guanabara.
Coach Filipe Luís led a tactical training session to begin defining the starting lineup for Saturday's match. One confirmed absence is striker Michael, who was substituted in the second half of the derby against Vasco. He underwent an imaging test and confirmed a muscle injury in the posterior region of his left thigh.
The athlete has already begun treatment with the medical department and will continue his recovery according to the schedule established by the club's professionals.
With a simple victory over Maricá, Mengão secures first place in the Guanabara Cup. The first leg of the Carioca semifinal is scheduled for March 1st or 2nd, with the second leg scheduled for March 8th or 9th.
