After beating Bahia in the Copa do Brasil, Flamengo returned this Friday (30) with a focus on the Brasileirão. The red-black team began preparing to face Corinthians next Sunday (1), at 16 pm, at Neo Química Arena, for the 25th round of the national competition.
The athletes who started the match last Wednesday (28) did a regenerative workout in the gym, while the others went to the field to work on the tactical part. The novelty was the presence of the Argentine Carlos Alcaraz, who arrived yesterday in Rio de Janeiro and has already started activities at Ninho do Urubu.
Earlier this afternoon, Flamengo officially announced the signing of striker Gonzalo Plata. The Ecuadorian signed a contract until August 2029.
De La Cruz and Michael both underwent imaging tests this Friday and were diagnosed with injuries to the posterior muscle of their right thigh. Both have already begun treatment in the medical department.
