Flamengo returns with an eye on its debut in the 2025 Cariocão
Rubro-Negro faces Boavista next Sunday (12), at 16 pm, at Batistão, in Aracaju

After a day off, the red-black squad returned this Tuesday (7), at Ninho do Urubu, and continued preparing for the debut in Cariocão 2025. With a team formed basically by U-20 athletes, Flamengo faces Boavista next Sunday (12), at 16 pm, at Batistão stadium, in Aracaju-SE. The game is valid for the first round of the State Championship.
In preparation since the last week of December, Rubro-Negro played a friendly against Maricá on Sunday (5), when they won 1-0. Daniel Sales scored the winning goal. Led by coach Cléber dos Santos, the team that entered the field was: Dyogo Alves, Pablo, Cleiton, Daniel Sales and Zé Welinton; Rayan Lucas, Fabiano and Lorran; Thiaguinho, Felipe Teresa and Guilherme.
Meanwhile, Mengão's professional squad will return on Wednesday afternoon (8) and will begin the preseason, which will be divided into two parts: the first in the United States and the second in Rio de Janeiro. The athletes will carry out two activities at the CT before traveling to Florida.
