After the draw against Ceará, Flamengo returned this Monday (5), at Ninho do Urubu, and began preparations for the match against Vélez Sarsfield (ARG), which will be played next Wednesday (7), at 21:30 pm, at Maracanã, for the second leg of the Conmebol Libertadores semifinals. It is worth remembering that Rubro-Negro won the first leg 4-0 in Argentina and opened a good advantage to advance to the final of the competition.

The players who played more than 45 minutes in yesterday's match worked out in the gym, while the others took to the field and completed a tactical drill under Dorival Júnior's guidance. Some players from the U-20 team completed the training session.

The red-black coach, in a press conference after the game against Ceará, explained the reason for resting some players:
