Flamengo returned to training this Tuesday (8), at Ninho do Urubu, and began preparations for the match against Olimpia (PAR), which takes place next Thursday (10), at 21 pm, at the Defensores del Chaco stadium. The game is valid for the second leg of the round of XNUMX of the Conmebol Libertadores.

Coach Jorge Sampaoli led technical and tactical training on the field. The morning was full of new developments at the training center. For the first time, new physical trainer Nicolás Maidana led a training session with the red-and-black squad.

This Wednesday (9), Mais Querido returns to training in the morning and then travels to Asunción, in Paraguay. It is worth remembering that the team from Gávea won the first leg, at Maracanã, by 1 to 0, and will have the advantage of a draw to advance to the next stage in the continental competition.
