After beating Fluminense and qualifying for the semifinals of the Taça Rio, the Rubro-Negro squad returned on Monday afternoon (25), at the George Helal Training Center. The match that will decide the place in the final of the competition will once again be a Fla-Flu.

The athletes who started the classic last Sunday (24) performed regenerative exercises at CEP FLA. The activity was led by physical trainer Roberto Oliveira.

The others went to Field 1 and participated in a practice session focused on ball possession. The activity included the participation of the Ninho Boys from the U-20 team.

After sustaining an injury during a friendly match with the Paraguayan national team, Piris da Motta returned to the Training Center and was evaluated by doctors. After undergoing the entire procedure, it was determined that the number 25 will not need surgery. The midfielder will be re-evaluated next Friday (29).

Preparations for the semi-final against Fluminense will continue on Tuesday afternoon (26), again at Ninho do Urubu. The decisive Fla-Flu is scheduled for this Wednesday (27), at 21:30 pm, at Maracanã.
