After beating Juventude and breaking a historic taboo, Flamengo returned this Tuesday morning (16), at Ninho do Urubu, and began preparing for the duel against Estudiantes (ARG). The first leg of the Libertadores quarterfinals will be played this Thursday (18), at 21:30 pm, at Maracanã.

During their return, the players did some gym work and then took to the field for an activity led by coach Filipe Luís. Defender Léo Ortiz returns from suspension for the Libertadores match, and forward Bruno Henrique is expected to be included after a workload check. Varela, who suffered from groin pain last week, is also expected to be available. 

After this morning's activity, goalkeeper Rossi gave a press conference and spoke about the Libertadores opponent, a club he knows very well:

"I played there, I know what the Libertadores means to Estudiantes. We know there are no easy games in the Libertadores. Whether it's in Argentina, Venezuela, or Ecuador... We know how difficult each game is. I think it'll be a very competitive, very physical game. But we have the advantage of playing the first game at home and trying to get a great result, and then aim for qualification there. I believe that if we play a good first game here, we have a good chance of securing a spot in the semifinals. But it's 200 minutes, it's going to be tough," said the red-and-black star. 

The Most Beloved returns to training on the afternoon of this Wednesday (17), when it ends its preparation to face the Argentines. After the game against Estudiantes, Mengão will face the classic with Vasco, next Sunday (21), at 17:30 pm, at Maracanã, for the 24th round of the Brasileirão.
