Flamengo returns with an eye on the classic
The cast resumed activities at Ninho do Urubu on the afternoon of this Thursday (13)
By Flamengo Communication - inWith all attention focused on the classic against Vasco for the Brazilian Championship, the Flamengo squad returned this Thursday afternoon (13) at the George Helal Training Center. The game against the Rio rival will be next Saturday (15), at 19 pm, in Brasília.
The athletes who started the first leg of the Copa do Brasil semi-final against Corinthians last Wednesday (12) carried out regenerative work. The work took place at the Ninho do Urubu gym and was led by physical trainer Roberto Oliveira.
The remaining players in the red-and-black squad began their training on Field 5 with a warm-up led by physical trainers Diogo Linhares and Fábio Eiras. The first part of the ball practice session was not recorded.
Following the training sessions, coach Mauricio Barbieri led a session in a reduced-space environment. Striker Lincoln was one of the standout performers and performed well during the session. Another player who performed well was defender Matheus Thuler.
