After the victory against Cuiabá, Flamengo returned this Thursday (16) and began preparations for the match against Atlético-MG, which will be played next Sunday (19), at 16 pm, at Mineirão. The match is valid for the 13th round of the Brazilian Championship.

The starters who started the game last Wednesday (15) did a regenerative training session at the CT gym, while the rest of the group carried out activities on the field together with the U-20 athletes.

Striker Bruno Henrique underwent imaging tests that revealed a multi-ligament injury in his right knee. Due to the intense joint effusion and recent inflammatory process, the athlete will undergo another exam next week to determine whether he will receive surgical or conservative treatment.

Defender David Luiz was diagnosed with edema in the hamstring of his right thigh. Both have already begun treatment at Ninho do Urubu.
