After an important victory over RB Bragantino, Flamengo returned on Friday afternoon (24), at Ninho do Urubu, and began preparations to face América-MG, next Sunday (26), at 18:30 pm, at Parque do Sabiá stadium, in Uberlândia. The duel is valid for the 35th round of the Brasileirão.

Before training, star Arrascaeta, elected the best player of the match last Thursday (23), participated in “Resenha do Jogo”, on FlaTV, and spoke about the victory against a direct rival in the fight for the Brazilian title.

"We knew Bragantino was a very physical team. It was a very open game, and they also created some scoring chances. But for us, it was a final, and we knew we had to take risks at some point. Thank God everything worked out, and we came away with the three points, which was the most important thing."

The starters who started yesterday's game did some regenerative work in the gym, while the others carried out activities on the field under the command of coach Tite, who achieved his fifth victory in charge of Mais Querido.

In the race for the national title, Rubro-Negro reached 60 points and is in third place. If they win on Sunday, the team could take the lead in the competition depending on other results.
