Flamengo returns and begins preparations for the match against São Paulo

Flamengo returned to training this Thursday morning (14), at Ninho do Urubu, and began preparations for the match against São Paulo, which takes place next Sunday (17), at 16 pm, at Maracanã. The clash between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo is valid for the second round of the Brasileirão. It is worth remembering that in the debut, Mais Querido drew 1-1 with Atlético-GO, away from home.

The red-and-black squad began training in the gym and then took to the field for technical and tactical training under the guidance of Coach Paulo Sousa. Defender Pablo, who is recovering from a knee injury, participated in part of the activity with the group.

After leaving the match against Talleres-ARG injured, right-back Matheuzinho underwent an examination, which revealed an injury to the anterior region of his right thigh. The athlete began treatment. Striker Bruno Henrique suffered trauma to his right knee, was re-evaluated and will undergo an examination this Friday (15).
