After winning the Guanabara Cup for the second time, Flamengo returned this Monday (26), at Ninho do Urubu, and finalized preparations for the match against Unión La Calera (CHI), in the second round of the Libertadores group stage. The match takes place tomorrow (27), at 19:15 pm, at Maracanã.
In the afternoon, coach Rogério Ceni led a tactical training session on the training center field. For Tuesday's match, the club's manager will be without defender Rodrigo Caio, who is continuing recovery and strengthening work on his right thigh.
This will be the first meeting between Flamengo and Unión La Calera in history. Mengão has won seven of its last eight games played at Maracanã in the Copa Libertadores, scoring 26 goals (an average of 3,25 goals per game) and conceding only three.
