After a draw in the first round of the Brasileirão, Flamengo returned on Monday morning (31), at Ninho do Urubu, and began preparing for their debut in the Libertadores, which takes place next Thursday (3) against Deportivo Táchira, at 21:30 pm, at the Pueblo Nuevo stadium, in Venezuela. Mengão is in Group C alongside Central Córdoba, Táchira and LDU. 

The athletes who started the match against Internacional last Saturday (29) did regenerative work in the gym, while the others went to the field. Defender Léo Pereira, who suffered a blow to his left knee and had to be substituted, participated normally in training. He underwent a clinical examination and no injury was diagnosed. 

The good news was that striker Pedro was cleared by the medical department. After seven months recovering from left knee surgery, Mengão's number 9 returned to training with the group this Monday. He is expected to return to action in April.
