After another great victory against Bahia, in Salvador, for the Brasileirão, the red-black squad returned this Thursday (03), at Ninho do Urubu, to begin preparations for the match against Fortaleza next Saturday (05), at 17 pm, at Maracanã. The match is valid for the eighth round of the national championship.

The players who started yesterday's match did regenerative work in the gym, while the other athletes went onto the field and carried out high-intensity tactical activities, with an emphasis on passing and finishing, guided by Dome and his assistants.

After training, the six Rubro-Negro players who were on the 2020 Campeonato Carioca Team received their respective trophies. They are:

Everton Ribeiro – Best midfielder
Rodrigo Caio – Best defender
Gerson – Best midfielder
Filipe Luís – Best left-back
Bruno Henrique – Best striker
Gabriel Barbosa – Top scorer, best striker and star of the State Championship.

Right-back Rafinha and coach Jorge Jesus were also awarded in their respective categories.
