After retaking the lead in the Brazilian Championship against Atlético-MG away from home, the red-black squad returned to Ninho do Urubu on Friday afternoon (28) and has already started preparing for the match against Bahia.
The duel against the Bahian team will be next Thursday (31), at 4 pm, at Maracanã. With the duel in mind, Maurício Barbieri led tactical training on the pitch at Field 16 and took the opportunity to make some adjustments to the athletes' positioning.
Monday's activities at Ninho do Urubu also included the participation of the Ninho Boys' U-20 team. The athletes who started the match against Atlético-MG also performed recovery exercises at CEP FLA.
Orlando Berrío continued his recovery process with the help of fitness trainer Fábio Eiras. The Colombian exercised extensively and, in the final part of the workout, completed a finishing drill.
Flamengo returns to the field for the Brazilian Championship next Thursday (31), at 16 pm, against Bahia. The duel will be valid for the eighth round of the national competition and the venue for the match is Maracanã. The Nation can buy tickets for this game clicking here.
