The red-black squad returned on Monday morning (19), at Ninho do Urubu, and began preparing for the match against Junior Barranquilla, which will take place next Wednesday (21), at 21:30 pm, at Maracanã. The match is valid for the last round of the group stage of the Libertadores.
The players who started the match against Corinthians performed recovery work in the gym, while the reserves took to the field to practice tactics and technique. Uruguayan midfielder Arrascaeta, in the final stages of his injury recovery, trained normally with the rest of the squad.
Flamengo currently leads Group A of the Copa Libertadores with 12 points and has already secured qualification for the round of XNUMX. With a win or draw against Junior Barranquilla, Mengão will secure first place in their group.
