In another day of training, Flamengo continued its preparations this Monday (22), at Ninho do Urubu, aiming at the match next Wednesday (24) against Vitória, at 20 pm, at Barradão. The clash between Rio de Janeiro and Bahia ends the first round of the Brasileirão. The Mais Querido is currently in third place with 34 points and has one game less than the teams in the G4.
Coach Tite will have almost his entire squad available to face Vitória. Midfielder Allan, who served an automatic suspension for his third yellow card, is available again. Striker Bruno Henrique continues his recovery from his injury.
After the victory over Criciúma, last Saturday (20), Tite celebrated the 2-1 comeback, at Mané Garrincha:
"There were two distinct halves. The team was very anxious in the first half, wanting to make the second move without having made the first. When we're overly anxious, the naturalness of our offensive moves and defensive set pieces is compromised. This is partly due to everyone's anticipation of returning. It's also a recovery process. That's what I said at halftime," the coach stated.
The red-black squad returns to training this Tuesday (23) morning and then travels to Salvador-BA.
