Flamengo continues preparations for the match against América-MG

The red-and-black squad carries out technical training and tactical work on a reduced field at the training center

On Saturday morning (23), at the George Helal Training Center, in Vargem Grande, the penultimate training session took place before the next commitment of Mais Querido, against the América-MG team. The group carried out technical activity, focused on building plays and finishing, and tactical training on a reduced field.

The athletes began the day with physical activity at Flamengo's Center of Excellence in Performance (CEP FLA). Then, they went to Field 2 to begin warming up with the ball. In pairs, the athletes exchanged passes, both on the ground and in the air, and helped each other with stretching.

On Field 1, the work began with drills focusing on building plays and finishing, with a numerical disadvantage in defense. Following that, on the other half of the field, Zé Ricardo led a tactical training session in a reduced-size area. The activity focused specifically on the team's offensive and defensive phases, with many instructions from the coach.

Flamengo will continue its preparation for its next match this Sunday (23), in an activity that will be carried out during the period. The Mais Querido will face the América-MG team for the 16th round of the Brazilian Championship. The game will be played at the Kléber Andrade Stadium, in Cariacica (ES), with the ball rolling from 20 pm.
