Flamengo suffered its first defeat in the Brazilian Championship this Wednesday at Beira-Rio Stadium. The Red-Blacks were defeated by Internacional 2-1 in Porto Alegre. De Arrascaeta scored the only goal for the "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved). 

First time 

Flamengo was surprised early in the match. Guerrero scored with a header. Flamengo's first dangerous move came in the 10th minute. Pará crossed and Bruno Henrique finished, but the ball went wide. In the 12th minute, Gabigol received a good pass but shot straight at Marcelo Lomba. In the 21st minute, Rhodolfo scored for Flamengo after a free kick by Everton Ribeiro, but the goal was disallowed by the referee after consulting VAR. In the 42nd minute, Mengão had another chance. Gabigol crossed into the box and Moledo almost scored an own goal.

Second time

Flamengo improved in the second half. They created more chances than their opponents and even equalized through De Arrascaeta. Unfortunately, victory was eluded them. Sarrafiore hit a beautiful shot from outside the box to put Inter ahead in the 31st minute. Abel Braga pushed the Rubro-Negro forward, but the goal was elusive.
