In an event on Thursday night (27), held in a concert hall in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, Ferj released the list of the best in the competition. Mengão, which won its 39th State title, had seven players chosen. It is worth remembering that Rubro-Negro was crowned champion with a 0-0 draw with Fluminense, on March 16, at Maracanã.

The seven Flamengo players who made the team were: goalkeeper Rossi, right-back Wesley, defenders Léo Ortiz and Léo Pereira, defensive midfielder Erick Pulgar, midfielder Gerson, and forward Bruno Henrique. Filipe Luís was named the championship's best coach. Completing the list are left-back Fuentes (Fluminense), attacking midfielder John Arias (Fluminense), and forwards Germán Cano and Pablo Vegetti (Vasco).

After the Cariocão, the Most Beloved focuses on the debut of the Brazilian Championship against Internacional this Saturday (29), at 21 pm, at Maracanã. And next Thursday (3), the red-black team will also make its debut in the Conmebol Libertadores against Deportivo Táchira, at 21:30 pm, in San Cristóbal, Venezuela.
