Flamengo trains with an eye on Goiás
Andrade led a technical activity for the red-black squad.
By From the Football press office - inFlamengo's squad returned to training on Wednesday afternoon at the Ninho do Urubu Training Center in Vargem Grande. The red-and-black team is gearing up for Sunday's decisive match against Goiás at the Maracanã Stadium. Should São Paulo stumble against Botafogo, the red-and-black team could take the lead with a win against the green-and-white team.
\Preparing the team for the game, Andrade divided the squad into four teams and led a small competition, with all teams facing off on a reduced field. The activity served to practice ball handling, marking, and finishing. Erick Flores, Kleberson, Zé Roberto, and Gil were some of the standouts.
\After training, defender Álvaro said that Flamengo is expecting a very difficult match against Hélio dos Anjos' team.
\"Goiás has a great team, but they ended up going through a very difficult period for a long time. The Brazilian schedule certainly contributed to this, because their team has great players. I'm sure they'll come motivated, wanting to take points from us. We have to be careful and seek results intelligently."
