Flamengo trains in Goiânia
Rubro-negro finalized the final details for tomorrow's match against Goiás at Serra Dourada.
By Flamengo Archive - inFlamengo held its final training session this Tuesday at the Goiás Bar Association (OAB) club in the municipality of Aparecida de Goiânia before facing Goiás tomorrow at Serra Dourada Stadium. Currently ninth in the Brazilian Championship with 24 points, the team from Gávea faces the third-place team in the competition, needing a good result to close in on the leaders. The match is part of the seventeenth round of the Brasileirão.
Coach Andrade led a technical and tactical activity for the Flamengo players. The Flamengo coach worked extensively on the Flamengo defense's positioning and quick counterattacks. Immediately afterward, the players participated in a lively recreational training session.
After training, Andrade said he will remain uncertain about the starting lineup until moments before the match. Denis Marques has not yet been confirmed by the coach.
"I have some questions, and I'll only resolve them tomorrow. I'll talk to Denis Marques to decide whether he'll start or start on the bench. He's been out of action for a long time, but he's a player who can overcome his lack of rhythm through technique and desire. We'll wait and see, and I'll only announce the lineup tomorrow."
