Flamengo trains in Mangaratiba and Juan is introduced

By Communication - Official Club Website - inFlamengo's second day of preseason training began early in Mangaratiba on Saturday morning (October 09.10th) at the Portobello Resort on Rio de Janeiro's Costa Verde. The entire squad took to the field to perform physical training. At the end of the training session, defender Juan was introduced.
Ederson and César Martins trained separately with fitness coach Alex Maior, while Nixon worked with fellow fitness coach Felipe Olive. The squad was then divided into two groups, each on a different half of the pitch, working on passing and movement.
After morning training, defender Juan donned the Sacred Mantle and was officially introduced. The athlete spoke of his joy at returning to play for the Red-Blacks. "I'm happy to be back playing for my favorite team, still able to perform at a high level. A lot of people have changed here, but it's a club I know well. We have quality players, and I know we can achieve great things," he declared.
Flamengo will continue training in Mangaratiba until January 19th. The Mais Querido's first match in 2016 will be against Ceará, for the Taça Asa Branca, at Castelão, in Fortaleza, on January 21.01st.
