In their last training session in Rio de Janeiro before traveling to Santa Catarina, where they face Chapecoense on Sunday (September 13.09th), the Flamengo squad went to Gávea. Oswaldo led the activities on the field with fans in the stands at the club's headquarters.

The athletes who played 90 minutes in the victory against Cruzeiro last Thursday night (September 10.09th) worked out in the gym. Oswaldo de Oliveira and trainer Ricardo Henriques worked with the other players. After warming up with physical work, the athletes participated in technical training on a reduced field. They were divided into three teams of four players each. While two teams faced each other, the members of the third team stayed on the sidelines and served as 'wild cards'.

Next, there was finishing drills. First, the athletes exchanged short passes, switched positions, and shot. Then, they finished after long passes and crosses. The last part of the training was exclusively with César Martins, Marcelo, and Trindade. Jayme de Almeida and Ricardo Henriques practiced aerial balls with the trio. The youth player crossed from different positions, and the defenders had to clear the ball.

Flamengo traveled immediately after training and will play next Sunday (September 13.09th) against Chapecoense. After the victory over Cruzeiro, the "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved) returned to the G4 of the Brasileirão and counts on the support of its fans to remain in the fight for the top positions in the table. The Rubro-Negro (Red-Black) team will train in Chapecó this Saturday, and members can watch the training at Chapecoense's training center. There are also opportunities for experiences on game day. Those who are members of Nação Rubro-Negra (Red-Black Nation) and live in the region can even win a ticket to the game. Click here and enjoy..
