Flamengo's squad returned to training on Tuesday afternoon at Granja Comary in Teresópolis. It was the club's first training session at the Brazilian National Team's training center. During a physical activity session, the coaching staff began preparing the team for its next Brazilian Championship challenge, on Sunday, against Internacional at the Maracanã stadium.

Fitness coach Alexandre Sanz led a rigorous training session for the red-and-black squad. The athletes were highly demanded during nearly an hour and a half of activity. Emerson and Léo Moura did separate physical training. Maxi Biancucchi only did weight training at the gym.

Petkovic had to go to Buenos Aires to obtain his work visa and will report back later this Tuesday. He will train normally tomorrow. Zé Roberto was also excused from training after having a tooth pulled that morning.
