On the morning of this Friday (18), the red-black squad carried out another workout at Ninho do Urubu aiming at the classic against Vasco, which takes place next Sunday (20), at 16 pm, at Maraca. The confrontation is valid for the second game of the semifinals of the Campeonato Carioca. Rubro-Negro got the better of the first game and won 1-0, gaining the advantage of one goal to advance to the final.
The athletes began their training in the gym and then took to the field for a technical and tactical activity led by Coach Paulo Sousa. During training last Thursday (17), defender Pablo suffered trauma to his right knee after a tackle. The player underwent an examination, which revealed an injury to the medial collateral ligament. He has already started physical therapy.
