Flamengo trains at Ninho do Urubu and Everton Ribeiro talks about Dorival Júnior's work

Tuesday (2) was a day of intense work at the George Helal Training Center. Aiming for the duel against Corinthians, for the Brazilian Championship, coach Dorival Júnior led tactical training sessions aimed at improving the team's offensive performance.
After the training session, attacking midfielder Everton Ribeiro gave a press conference at Ninho do Urubu and spoke about his first moments under the new coach.
"He's making the most of it. He's trying to prepare us well and trying to correct what he thought was wrong in the game against Bahia. We've been training movement and that's how we'll be able to improve. We have 11 games ahead of us and he came to help us. He's already shown that he has great potential."
"Dorival arrived wanting to get to know the group and is giving us a lot of guidance. We don't have much time, so every minute is precious. He's already shown us videos and we're trying to assimilate his methods as quickly as possible," added the number 7.
The number 7 player showed confidence in the squad and assured that everyone believes in winning the Brazilian Championship title.
"We strongly believe in winning the title. Even knowing the difficulties, the opportunities we let slip by. We are four points behind the leader, we have direct confrontations, and we need to absorb what Dorival has to teach us."
Flamengo continues its preparations at Ninho do Urubu for the match against Corinthians, and Everton Ribeiro highlighted the importance of having time to work with the new coach.
"We need to use these free weeks to improve our game, to create scoring opportunities. We have 11 games left to try and take the lead."
Finally, Everton Ribeiro spoke about what Flamengo needs to do to get back to winning in the Brazilian Championship.
"We need to score goals. We're having difficulty. We have to create better alternatives, and for that, we're training our movement. The plays will happen more naturally."
