After beating Paraná on Sunday night (21), the Flamengo squad returned to Ninho do Urubu on Tuesday afternoon (23), and began preparations for the match against Palmeiras. The game against the São Paulo team will be next Saturday (27), at 19 pm, at Maracanã.

The first activity of the day took place on the pitch of Field 4 and focused on technical aspects. In a reduced space and divided into two groups, the players worked on reaction and quick passing drills while being marked with pressure.

Following that, coach Dorival Júnior led a team training session with the players who did not start the game against Paraná in Curitiba. Midfielder Diego and defensive midfielder Jean Lucas had good performances and were among the highlights of the session.

Before concluding their workday at the George Helal Training Center, forwards Henrique Dourado and Lincoln participated in a supplementary finishing drill. Both strikers performed well in the activity, which was led by assistant coach Maurício Souza.
