This Saturday (27), Flamengo held the last training session in preparation for the match against Chapecoense for the 22nd round of the Brazilian Championship. Zé Ricardo led a tactical training session and made some tests in the starting team during the activity, changing players mainly in the midfield and attack sectors. Afterwards, there was work on set pieces and, ending the activity, athletes carried out an activity on a reduced field.

With the support of the Santa Catarina nation present, the Flamengo squad began warming up with the ball at Chapecoense's Training Center, which consisted of passing and movement drills. Following this, the athletes did physical work before the start of training.

Next, the tactical work began. During the session, Zé Ricardo tested different formations in the starting lineup for the next match. The coach instructed the players regarding Chapecoense's characteristics, defining the game plan for the confrontation. Later, without images being taken by the press, set-piece training took place.

To conclude the workday, the group held a collective training session on a reduced-size field. After the activity ended, part of the squad remained on the field to practice direct free kicks. Adryan, Gabriel, Guerrero, Rafael Vaz, and Donatti were the players who stayed on the field for this final exercise.

Flamengo will face Chapecoense this Sunday (28), at Arena Condá, in Chapecó. The match will start at 4 pm. The Mais Querido seeks to maintain its place in the G-16 and reduce the points difference to the top teams in the competition.
