Flamengo trains with Grêmio in mind
Rubro-negro began preparation work for Sunday's clash in the Brazilian Championship.
By Flamengo Archive - inFlamengo's squad returned to training this Thursday afternoon at the Ninho do Urubu Training Center in Vargem Grande. After a 0-0 draw with Fluminense yesterday in the Copa Sudamericana, the Flamengo squad now turns its attention to the Brazilian Championship, as the Gávea team faces Grêmio at the Olímpico Stadium on Sunday.
The players who started yesterday's match only did physical exercises in the training center's new gym. The rest of the players participated in a technical activity led by Andrade. In the finishing drill, Adriano was the standout performer, scoring some beautiful goals.
With Léo Moura injured, Andrade promoted youngster Rafael Galhardo to the senior squad. The right-back will be part of the red-and-black delegation that leaves tomorrow for Porto Alegre. Another new addition is Bruno Mezenga, who had a good training session today and will be an option for Andrade on the bench.
Kleberson, who suffered a dislocated right shoulder in the national team's match, is expected to be out for the red-black team for 15 weeks.
