As a mass-market club, Flamengo has a strong social responsibility. Taking another step toward positive causes, Flamengo and adidas are launching a jersey in honor of Pink October. Earlier this month, the club featured the campaign's symbolic ribbon on its social media avatar.

The initiative, known around the world, aims to raise awareness about breast cancer and its prevention. Flamengo will take the field on the 29th against Atlético-MG wearing a pink jersey.

The jersey will be produced in a limited edition of just 550, which will be sold starting on Monday, the 24th, at the adidas store in Gávea. The piece will arrive at Espaço Rubro-Negro stores the following day. Besides getting a rare jersey, fans who purchase the pink jersey will participate in a charitable campaign: a portion of the proceeds from the sale will be donated by adidas to cancer charities.
