This Sunday, in the Carioca Futsal Championship, Flamengo beat Montanha 3-1, in a game valid for the 3rd round of the return leg.

Flamengo has six points in the championship, with two wins, and is in third place in Group 1. Teresópolis leads with 12 points, followed by América with 9 points. The Rio de Janeiro federation stripped Flamengo of points from the matches against Teresópolis and América because a Flamengo player was found to be ineligible to play.

Flamengo still has two matches to play before the end of the first phase of the championship: against América, in Gávea, on Wednesday, and against Teresópolis, on Saturday, in the mountains.

Two wins would bring the red-black team closer to qualifying.
