After a 0-0 draw with Botafogo last night at Maracanã, Flamengo's squad returned to training this Monday afternoon in Gávea. The Gávea team begins preparations for the next Brazilian Championship match, Wednesday, against Palmeiras in São Paulo.

With the exception of Jônatas, the players who started yesterday's classic did muscle recovery exercises at the Club's gym.

The rest of the squad participated in a training match against Portuguesa, from Governador Island. Flamengo won 2-0, with goals from Paulo Sérgio and Thiago Sales. The team from Gávea took the field with: Bruno, Luizinho, Dininho (Fabrício), Thiago Sales, and Egidio; Toró, Airton (Rômulo), Jônatas, and Kleberson (Erick Flores); Diego Tardelli (Paulo Sérgio), and Éder.
