After a strenuous morning training session, the Flamengo squad returned to training this Tuesday afternoon at Gávea Stadium. The coaching staff is preparing the team for their next Brazilian Championship match, Saturday, against Vitória at Engenhão Stadium.

While the starting players worked on their fitness, the rest of the squad participated in a training match against Cardoso Moreira. Flamengo took to the field with: Marcelo Lomba; Everton Silva, Airton, Ronaldo Angelim, and Jorbison; Kleberson, Guilherme Camacho (Bruno Mezenga), Fierro and Petkovic (Erick Flores); Zé Roberto and Aleílson (Alex Cruz). Flamengo won 2-0, with goals from Zé Roberto and Alex Cruz.

Midfielder Rômulo, who was on loan to Figueirense, has been reinstated to the squad. He's been playing laps around the field and is another option for coach Cuca for the Brazilian Championship.
