Flamengo wins training match against Itaboraí
Rafael Vaz and Gabriel scored the goals that guaranteed the red-black victory by 2 to 1

Resuming work after the days off that followed the classic against Botafogo, the squad met at the George Helal Training Center this Tuesday (19) to play a training match against the Itaboraí team, on Field 1. Only the athletes who did not participate in the last commitment played this match.

The final score was 2-1 for "Mais Querido" (the most beloved club), with goals from Rafael Vaz (a penalty kick) and Gabriel. The team changed significantly throughout the game, with the participation of the team's new signings, defender Donatti and center forward Leandro Damião, as well as midfielder Adryan, who returned from a loan spell with FC Nantes in France.
The remaining athletes completed physical and technical training on Field 2 of the training center, led by scientific coordinator Daniel Guimarães. The physical activity consisted of strength and endurance exercises, while the technical work focused on crossing and finishing.
Flamengo begins the week of preparation for next Monday's match (25), against the América-MG team. The match will be played at the Kléber Andrade Stadium, in Cariacica (ES), with the ball rolling from 20 pm.
