With a goal from Renato, five minutes into the first half, Flamengo won today's training match against Vila Nova (MG), at Toca da Raposa.

The training session allowed coach Ney Franco to confirm the lineup that will face Atlético-MG next Wednesday at Mineirão Stadium. The coach is only waiting for the contract renewal of goalkeeper Bruno, who was rested yesterday while recovering from a right knee injury. The team that began today's training session consisted of Diego; Leonardo Moura, Irineu, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Jaílton, Léo Medeiros, Léo Lima, and Toró; and Renato and Leonardo. Starting 15 minutes into the second half, the coach brought the reserves into action. "The team held back a bit because we have a three-point game on Wednesday, but it was a good training session, and we achieved our main objective, which was to get the group active so we don't lose momentum," Ney Franco assessed.
