Flamengo defeated Atlético-MG 3-1 this Thursday at Maracanã, jumping to seventh place in the Brazilian Championship with 23 points. The Minas Gerais team took the lead, but Flamengo turned the tables with goals from Léo Moura, Kleberson, and Everton. In the next round, the Gávea team faces Náutico on Sunday in Rio de Janeiro.

The match began with Atlético-MG taking the lead after just two minutes. Serginho took advantage of Angelim and Airton's inattention and passed to Éder Luis, making it 1-0 Atlético-MG. The goal didn't faze Atlético-MG, who had chances to equalize with Emerson in the 20th minute and Léo Moura in the 23rd.

In the 25th minute, Toró crossed and Kleberson nearly equalized with a header. In the 36th minute, Toró delivered a beautiful pass to Léo Moura, who burst into the box from the right and slotted it past Aranha: 1-1 at the Maracanã. Flamengo was playing better, and the comeback didn't take long. Two minutes later, Everton made a good run down the left and passed to Kleberson, who finished with aplomb: 2-1 Flamengo.

Flamengo returned for the second half under pressure from the visiting team. Emerson had two good chances to extend his lead early on, but the number 11's finishing was poor. In the 14th minute, Everton made a great play, passed to Adriano, and received the ball to score the third: 3-1 Flamengo.

In the 37th minute, Diego Tardelli back-heeled the ball, and Eder Luis fired a powerful shot into the corner. Bruno saved for Flamengo. It was the last good chance of the match. Flamengo held the ball and waited for the referee's final whistle to celebrate their second consecutive victory in the Brazilian Championship.
