Flamengo's adult team went to Niterói, last Tuesday (9/6), to play the second game valid for the quarter-finals of the Carioca Futsal Championship against Canto do Rio, and returned home with a 6-1 victory.
Flamengo opened the scoring with an own goal from one of Canto do Rio's players. Victor Magrão, Jaxwell, Alexandre, and Rafael each scored to extend the lead for the Gávea team.
The match was sealed with a beautiful goal from Flamengo's Diego, the current top scorer in the championship, guaranteeing the red-black team's place in the semifinals.
Now, the red-black team is preparing to face Vassouras, on June 19th, at the Hélio Mauricio Gymnasium, in Gávea.
