Flamengo won again! With a opportunistic goal from defender Rodrigo Caio, Mengão defeated Corinthians 1-0 this Tuesday at Maracanã and qualified for the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil. It's worth remembering that the "Mais Querido" (Flamengo) was only looking for a draw, having also won 1-0 in São Paulo.

First time

The first half was fairly even. The Mais Querido threatened on two occasions. First in the 38th minute, Gabigol received a beautiful pass from Willian Arão and almost scored. Cássio saved. Then, in the 43rd minute, Everton Ribeiro received a beautiful cross from Diego and headed the ball, which Cássio saved. Diego Alves, from deep, made some great saves to secure the 0-0 draw.
