With a goal from Zé Roberto in the 42nd minute of the second half, Flamengo defeated Macaé 2-1 this Saturday afternoon at Raulino de Oliveira Stadium in Volta Redonda. With the victory, Flamengo maintained its 100% record in the Campeonato Carioca and secured an early spot in the semifinals. Flamengo leads Group B with 15 points.

Before the match, right-back Léo Moura received a plaque from the vice-president of football, Kleber Leite, in honor of the player's 200 games in a Flamengo shirt.

The Flamengo's first good chance of the match fell to Léo Moura. The number 2 took advantage of Everton's cross and fired a dangerous shot. Macaé responded with Jackson, who burst into Flamengo's box but was blocked by Willians.

In the 20th minute, Willians fired a long-range shot that scared Darci. Five minutes later, André Gomes received the ball at the edge of the box and fired a powerful shot. Bruno saved confidently. In the 27th minute, Obina received the ball from Ibson and finished for goal. The assistant referee flagged Ibson for a non-existent offside.
