This Saturday morning (7) was another test for the Flamengo squad during the preseason that continues at Ninho do Urubu. The team led by Maurício Barbieri played a training match against Nova Iguaçu and won 3-0. Marlos scored the first two and Willian Arão closed the score.

Flamengo started the training match against Nova Iguaçu with Diego Alves; Rodinei, Léo Duarte, Réver and Renê; Romulo, Lucas Paquetá, Everton Ribeiro, Diego and Marlos; Lincoln. The team showed good rhythm and finished the first half winning 1-0 with a goal from Marlos.

The number 17 was the star of the match and continued to be successful in individual plays, giving the opponent's defense a hard time. After a great play by Rodinei, the number 17 shot low and extended the score.

To analyze all the players, coach Maurício Barbieri made several substitutions, and two were decisive for the final goal. Striker Uribe shot powerfully, the goalkeeper parried the shot, and midfielder Willian Arão pounced on the rebound to put it into the back of the net.

While the practice match was taking place on Field 5 of the George Helal Training Center, Orlando Berrío and Rhodolfo continued their treatments at the Center of Excellence in Performance (CEP FLA).

The players have a day off this Sunday (8) and return to work next Monday (9) in the morning. Preparation continues steadily with a view to the rest of the season.
