Flamengo defeated São Paulo this Sunday (23.08), in a comeback, at Maracanã, in the debut of coach Oswaldo Oliveira. The Mais Querido started losing in the first half, but tied with Ederson. Right at the beginning of the second half, Guerrero gave the victory to the Mais Querido. Now, the team turns its strength to Classic of Millions for the Brazilian Cup. Buy your ticket.

The game
Flamengo had more possession and took the initiative from the first minute. Emerson had two chances to open the scoring, but it was SPFC who took the lead. Luiz Eduardo capitalized on a corner kick for the Tricolor and headed it to the far post. Guerrero then shot dangerously at Renan Ribeiro's goal, but the Tricolor player saved. It was a warning shot.
Minutes later, when César returned the ball to the Peruvian, who challenged the Tricolor defense and saw Thiago Ribeiro attempt to pass back to Renan. Ederson, opportunistic, got ahead of the goalkeeper and equalized. As he left the field, the team promised to keep playing strong.
