Flamengo beats Vasco on penalties and wins the Rio Cup

They're champions!!! After a 1-1 draw in regulation time, Flamengo defeated Vasco 3-1 on penalties to win the Taça Rio title. Flamengo's goal in regulation time was scored by De Arrascaeta. In the penalty shootout, goalkeeper César shone, saving Tiago Reis' shot.

First time 

In the first half, Flamengo had the best scoring chances. In the first minute of play, Ronaldo found himself unmarked on the right and fired a cross-shot. Mengão's first goal was nearly scored. In the 30th minute, Arrascaeta took a corner kick that Thuler headed, and the defender nearly scored. Fernando Miguel could only watch.
