Flamengo defeats Ponte Preta in Campinas
With one man less for almost the entire second half, the team holds on to victory with grit and commitment in the first match with Zé Ricardo in charge.

In a match held at 11 am this Sunday (29), in the fourth round of the Brazilian Championship, Flamengo beat Ponte Preta away from home, at the Moisés Lucarelli stadium, by 2 to 1, with an own goal, in a free kick by Alan Patrick that deflected off the opposing defense, and a shot by Jorge from outside the area.
Zé Ricardo made his debut leading the professional team with a victory that left Mais Querido with seven points, one less than current leader Santa Cruz, finishing in fifth place based on tiebreaker criteria.
Rubro-Negro's next game will be next Thursday (02), against Vitória. The match will be held at 21 pm at the Raulino de Oliveira Stadium, in Volta Redonda.

Ponte Preta opened the scoring with Wellington Paulista, but Flamengo pushed for the win. Felipe Azevedo deflected Alan Patrick's free kick into an own goal. The first half was drawing to a close when, in the 41st minute, Jorge scored a stunning goal with a first-time shot from a rebound from Alan Patrick's corner.
In the 16th minute of the second half, Fernandinho received his second yellow card and was sent off. For the rest of the match, the team played with determination and dedication and managed to hold on to the result.
