On Wednesday night (29), Flamengo beat Tolima 1-0 in Colombia in the first leg of the round of XNUMX of the Conmebol Libertadores. Andreas Pereira scored the red-black goal in the match. With the result, Mais Querido needs a draw in the second leg to qualify for the next phase of the competition.

The game

Flamengo started the match dominating the action. With possession of the ball, they sought space in the attacking half. After the first few minutes, the Colombian team evened the score.

In the 17th minute, Flamengo had possession up front. The ball fell to Andreas Pereira in midfield, and the Belgian fired a rare shot into the top corner. A stunning goal for Flamengo: 0-1.

Following the first half, the game remained open, with chances for both teams. Despite the match's offensive intensity, Flamengo went into halftime with a narrow lead.

The second half began as the first had ended, with chances for both sides. As time wore on, Tolima took the lead. "Mais Querido" (The Most Beloved) took advantage of the opportunity to attack on the counterattack.

In the final stretch of the game, Flamengo had chances to extend the lead, the best of which came from Pedro, but Andreas Pereira's goal in the first half put the final touches to the match.

Next appointment

Flamengo returns to the field next Saturday (2), to face Santos, at 19 pm, at Vila Belmiro, for the 15th round of the Brasileirão.
