Love is in the air at Flamengo. On honeymoon with the fans and his teammates since arriving at Gávea at the beginning of the year, Vagner Love continues in great form. On Wednesday (02.06), the Artilheiro do Amor scored once again, his 23rd of the season, giving coach Rogério Lourenço's team their second victory in the Brasileirão.

Considered "different" by the red-black coach, Love still doesn't know if he will stay at Flamengo until the end of the year, but, depending on the will of his teammates and the coaching staff, until a decision is made the goalscorer has a guaranteed place in the team.

"He's a skilled and unique player. He showed up very well to score the goal. He wasn't playing so well, but he decided the match with one ball. I haven't heard back yet about whether he'll stay, but he's a great player," said Rogério, who found support within the group.

Full-back Leonardo Moura agrees with the coach and celebrates having the goalscorer by his side at Flamengo.

"We have a natural goalscorer, and it's great to have him on our side. Facing him would be very difficult, but we're lucky to have him on our team. We have to take advantage of that," he said.

The coach also celebrated the good performance of young Diego Maurício who, for him, was tactically fundamental in the second half.

"Vinícius looks to play on the wings, but he's not a striker. Since Palmeiras brought on a striker in the second half, I realized their team would open up, so I brought on Diego. I think this was good for the team, which improved significantly in the second half and came away with the victory," he added.
