Flamengo visits Cruzeiro in a match valid for the penultimate round of the Brasileirão

The Brazilian Championship is in its final stretch and this Sunday (25) Flamengo will have another challenge within the national competition. The team led by Dorival Júnior will go to Mineirão, to face Cruzeiro, in a match valid for the 37th round. The Mais Querido depends on a combination of results to continue dreaming of the title.
Flamengo currently sits second in the Brazilian Championship with 69 points from 36 rounds. For Sunday's match, coach Dorival Júnior will have Lucas Paquetá available, who served a suspension against Grêmio.

During preparations for the match against Cruzeiro, midfielder Willian Arão gave a press conference and analyzed the good moment he is experiencing with the Manto Sagrado.
"I'm happy with where I am right now. I've regained my confidence and consistency. Everything is working out for me to continue evolving. But I'm not satisfied. I'm always thinking about improving. I'm happy, but I always want to improve."
Still on the subject of the Brazilian title, the number 5 stated that it is the desire of everyone in the red-black squad.
"We never stop believing. As long as there's a chance, we'll fight until the end. There's no throwing in the towel. We'll always fight as if it were the last meal."

Flamengo x Cruzeiro
Cruzeiro hasn't beaten Flamengo in the Brazilian Championship for three years (or six games; 1d/5d). The Minas Gerais team's last victory over the red-black team in the Brazilian Championship was on June 03, 06 (2015-1 at Mineirão, goal by Manoel).
Despite losing the 2017 Copa do Brasil title and being eliminated from the 2018 Libertadores, Flamengo has the advantage in the recent record of this classic: seven wins, four draws and three defeats in the last 14 matches.
