Flamengo returns to the field this Sunday against Chapecoense

Flamengo returns to the field this Sunday, at 17pm (Brasília time), against Chapecoense, at Arena Condá (Santa Catarina), for the 28th round of the 2017 Brazilian Championship. The team is looking to win after three rounds without a triumph, and stay in the group that seeks the G4 of the competition and a place in the 2018 Copa Libertadores da América.
The team is aware of its mission and wants to put an end to the discomfort this round, bringing joy back to the Red-Black Nation. This is the message midfielder Cuéllar conveyed in his last press conference held at Ninho do Urubu on Friday, after the team's training session.
"The fans have the right to demand it. Our squad is very good. I don't think Flamengo's year is that bad, because it's not over yet. We're looking to be in the top four by the end of the year. We're frustrated by the results, but this should serve as a lesson to work even harder. We have to give 100% and strive for results, but the players' consciences are clear because we strive every day to achieve our goals," said the midfielder, who also showed the team's approach this Sunday.
"We're a great team and we have to play wherever we play, and it can't be any different in Chapecó. We need to get the three points to get closer to a direct spot in the Libertadores, which is our goal. It won't be easy, because Chapecoense is a good team and has its own challenges, but Flamengo will fight for its objectives."
