"We know that everything is different now. One slip-up and we're out of the competition. But we're prepared for whatever comes our way. Our goal is the title. Our team did well in the first phase, and we hope to improve even more now to reach the final," said right-back Alex.

It's worth remembering that, on Tuesday night, another important match for Flamengo's youth soccer will take place. At 22 p.m., the Brazilian U-20 team will face Mexico in the Punta del Este International Tournament in Uruguay. Coach Rogério Loureço, who is from Flamengo, has three players who graduated from the club: Jorbison, Galhardo, and Diego Maurício. The latter two, if Flamengo advances in the Copinha, will join coach Armênio Moura's squad.
