After almost a month playing away, Flamengo returns to play at home. This Wednesday, against Cruzeiro, in the Brazilian Championship, the "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved) wants to recover from the setback in the last round, against Grêmio, and climb back up the table. With 47 points, Flamengo wants to get closer to the G4 (top four), to guarantee a direct spot in the 2018 Copa Libertadores.

In the final stretch of the Brasileirão, Flamengo faces key matches against teams also vying for qualification. After Cruzeiro, the Rubro-Negro will travel to São Paulo to play against Palmeiras. "It's the trend in the Brasileirão. The final rounds are always more intense. All teams have a very high demand for good performance aiming for the best position in the table. For Flamengo, it's very difficult. They are strong teams, looking to consolidate their position. There have been four matches, with three Flamengo victories (2-0/2015, 1-0/2016, 2-1/2016) and one draw (1-1/2017).
